Secret

This variety seems to be well suited for South Florida having performed well for the 3 years we had it growing on Dr. Huey. Secret tends to produce perfectly formed blooms in graceful spirals of cream tinged with pink and sometimes light green. An excellent variety that we would love to grow on Fortuniana should we happen upon it. This rose makes a great cut rose, lasting well in the vase as well as on the bush and its long leafy sepals only add to its charm and beauty. Although it does show some resistance to disease, and may perform well in a no-spray garden, Secret would still benefit from a good spray program especially in the hottest months.
