Papi Delbard Rose

Papi Delbard Rose

Papi Delbard

One of the largest roses in our garden Papi Delbard has quickly reached 10 feet by 10 feet in its first year in our garden. Unfortunately, it has proven to be a rather stingy bloomer, but this may be to the fact that many climbers and ramblers need adequate time to get established before putting on a good show of blooms. Delbards for the most part have done well for us so we are patiently waiting for this rose to perform well. It has incredible disease resistance and would be well suited for the no-spray garden. Ours is on Fortuniana, but something tells me that it might also do well on its own roots as it’s a very vigorous grower.
