Olympiad

A very disease resistant and heat tolerant rose. Olympiad boasts some of the most beautifully well-formed red roses that we’ve grown. Its glowing red hues do not fade even in the most intense sun, making it very eye catching in the garden. The blooms last well in the vase as well. Ours is grown in a large pot on Dr. Huey rootstock and performs admirably. I imagine it would do very well on Fortuniana. This rose may well work for the no-spray garden but will benefit from a good spraying program in the hottest months. A good bloomer and highly recommended red rose for our climate.
