Europeana

This little workhorse of a rose is one of the most prolific bloomers in our garden. It keeps a nice compact habit and its disease resistance is good enough for the no spray garden if you don’t mind the occasional spotted leaf. A good rose for containers, the fat red buds bloom in clusters that form an impressive splash of color. The bright red blooms last in both the garden and the vase and although they lack fragrance, they are stunning and always well formed, sometimes showing off bright yellow stamens in a very charming way. This rose seems to deter insects as well and is a relatively easy to grow variety that is highly recommended. Ours is on Dr. Huey and has always performed well in a small pot.
