Darcy Bussell Rose

Darcy Bussell Rose

Darcey Bussell

This carmine-red rose is another good example of how certain English roses by David Austin perform very well in our climate. The medium cupped blooms start off cherry red and fade to a more violet-red. This is another prolific bloomer that has even performed well for us on Dr. Huey rootstock lasting more than 3 years in a large pot and blooming rear round. We have recently replaced this rose for one on its own roots in hopes that it will have a longer life span. A good rose for the beginner gardener, we imagine Darcey Bussell would grow wonderfully if grafted on Fortuniana.
