Our most spectacular and favorite rose, this tough variety can grow 8 feet tall as a climber or be maintained as a 4 ft by 4ft shrub with heavy pruning. Bred by Delbard in France, it performs well in the heat and humidity of South Florida. Its very large salmon pink blooms are produced in high profusion and can get as large as 5 inches across. Somewhat inconsistent on form, the large flowers can either form a perfect rosette packed with petals ands showing a button eye or sometimes showing more loosely petaled blooms that show off bright yellow stamens. Both forms are absolutely beautiful and only add to the charm of this sumptuous rose. Grows well on her own roots and thrives in our summer heat, this rose blooms best from May to October, but produces blooms year round. Can be grown in a no-spray garden, but will benefit from spraying in the hotter months. The tough thick petals are even resistant to insects. Our most highly recommended rose.
