Belindas Dream rose

Belinda’s Dream

One of the best-suited and commonly recommended roses for South Florida, this highly disease resistant variety boasts large hybrid tea-like blooms that are a solid baby pink and smell of raspberries. Can be grown on its own roots here, but performs better if grafted on to Fortuniana. Give this rose ample room to grow as it can get up to 6 feet tall and will grow well in the no-spray garden but will benefit from spraying in the most humid months (June-September). An outstanding variety that is a great beginner rose for those new to rose gardening. This was the variety that got me hooked on roses. Does not like to be pruned too harshly, so prune only by about 1/3 when needed.
