Abraham Darby

This rose is probably one of the most famous and successful roses bread by English rose breeder David Austin. It is a profuse bloomer and produces some of the larges roses in our collection. Although it is susceptible to blackspot, this rose is vigorous and will continue to grow and produce many apricot pink flowers sometimes fading to pale pink or light peach. A large growing rose with many long arching canes that performs well even in partial shade, Abraham Darby has earned its reputation for being one of Austin’s best roses. Ours is grafted onto Fortuniana rootstock.
